This Privacy Policy explains how TEKKNIGHTS ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit tekknights.com or get in touch with us. We keep what we collect to a minimum, we never sell your data, and we only use it to answer you and to keep this site running.
1. Who we are
TEKKNIGHTS is a software company based in Model Town, Lahore, Pakistan, designing and building mobile apps, web platforms, backends and UI/UX for clients worldwide. For any privacy question you can reach us at info@tekknights.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers our marketing website and contact form. Our individual products have their own, more specific privacy policies that govern the data handled inside each app:
If you engage us for a client project, the handling of any data we process on your behalf is governed by the separate written agreement for that engagement, not by this website policy.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, email address, and optionally your phone/WhatsApp number, an indicative budget, the type of work you need, and your message. You only share what you decide to type.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps in server logs. This is used for security, diagnostics and to keep the site reliable.
4. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible project.
- To send you information you have specifically asked us for.
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
- To meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations.
We do not use your contact details for unsolicited marketing, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
5. Legal bases
Where data-protection law such as the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running our business, and on legal obligation where we must keep records.
6. Sharing and service providers
We share information only with the trusted service providers that make our site work — our web host and our email provider, which transmits and stores the messages you send us. These providers process data on our instructions. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
7. Cookies
Our marketing website uses only what is necessary to function and to remember basic preferences (for example your chosen language on our product pages). We do not use the website contact flow to build advertising profiles of you.
8. Data retention
We keep enquiry messages for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your message sooner at any time.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to request a copy of your data. To exercise any of these, email info@tekknights.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
10. International transfers
We operate from Pakistan and work with clients and providers around the world, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data, we take reasonable steps to protect it in line with this policy.
11. Children
Our website and contact form are intended for business enquiries and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to limit who can access it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
